Eco Farm Day: Growing Together

Date: February 24, 2024
All-day event
Location: Kemptville Campus Kemptville, Ontario

COG-OSO, in Partnership with Just Food and Kemptville Campus are excited to announce our speakers for Eco Farm Day, held at Kemptville Campus on Saturday February 24th.

This year, you’ll hear from experienced Farmers across eastern Ontario and western Quebec on exciting topics such as season extension, transforming animal products, and diversifying marketing. During each workshop block, you’ll be able to choose one of three workshops to attend across the horticulture, grazing & business streams. All of our workshops are designed to be farmer-led, with our speakers sharing their most valuable lessons learned from their varied on-farm experience!

EFD 2024’s Keynote speaker will be Dan Brisebois of Tourne-Sol Co-operative Farm in Les Cèdres, Quebec. Tourne-Sol grows organic seeds for an online seed store and a wholesale rack program; and grows organic vegetables for 500 weekly veggie baskets, but Dan will speak to more than vegetable and seed growers – Come to Eco Farm Day to hear Dan share his expertise in building a resilient  farm to get through uncertain times.

Join us at Eco Farm Day for a full day of exciting farmer-led programming, a delicious organic lunch, our signature trade show and a variety of networking opportunities with the local organic community. You can check out our program online now!
