This year we will be holding an organic banquet the evening before the AGM. There will be an organic meal followed by a local Celtic folk band, The Horse’s Mouth.
AGM & Speakers

Registration for the AGM starts at 9:00 and the meeting starts at 10:00am. Online streaming is available by request. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for the information. The AGM will include election of directors and organization reports, including the financial report.
Last year we had three great speakers that gave us lots to think about on our drives home about glyphosate, weed inspections and the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations. This year, the speakers will be focusing more on marketing.
Brenda Tjaden has a long history helping western Canadian farms respond to emerging profit opportunities in growing and marketing their crops. In the process of founding Sustainable Grain, Brenda spent the past 3 years researching sustainability protocols and the organic value chain, their opportunities and vulnerabilities. She also pursued an education in soil health and regenerative agriculture and continues to build out her network in this field.
Dennis Kontos is from New Century Produce, a dynamic Canadian organic company trading domestically and internationally in a multifaceted industry.
There will also be an open forum at the end of the day for discussions.
